What are Partners in Empowerment?

A growing global community of citizens, businesses, and organizations united in action to forge a sustainable, just world through The Global Summit and affiliated platforms.

Like an eco-system, the power of our network comes from the vast diversity of its participants.

Unique to this event, and growing network, is the fact that the people impacted are the ones simultaneously creating the landscape. The beneficiary landscape (aka target market) of The Global Summit – is all encompassing – including every man, woman and child on the planet. It includes the orphan in the village we put first, to the CEO and government official and everyone in between.

Who benefits from participation and what are the benefits?

Since The Global Summit is a multi-sector collaboration to better the social, financial and physical environment in which every human being lives, ultimately, it excludes no one. However, for purposes of defining, and seeing how it might benefit you – your company, agency or team – the following are those most clearly constituting our participants, their unique roles, and some primary ways they benefit:

For Impact Organizations (aka Collaborating Nonprofits)
Purpose: “To reduce duplication and increase social impact in program areas by integrating resources & aligning strategies with multi-sector partners via EW’s 7 Stages to Sustainability model and other collaboration tools.”

Role: For Impact Organizations (FIOs) can either be social & environmental service providers & governmental agencies with similar mission. These groups provide critical benefits to vulnerable communities that are often under-recognized and thus under-supported by the global economy. The idea of collaborating non-profits is vital to balance profit centered shortcomings of the global economy and to develop a comprehensive approach that leads to a more effective and sustainable policy-making and implementation framework. Because of their legally structured, charitable purpose mandating a social impact bottom line, FIOs lead the facilitation process that will bring the other sector participants together in collaborative, win-win solutions.

Benefits For-Impact Organizations (FIOs) Leaders/ Participants:

  • New relationships at the event advance program collaboration between complementary organizations and funding partners.
  • Workshops train FIOs in multi-sector approaches, how to identify win-win strategies and key partners to advance goals.
